What every bidder needs to know before the auction begins
In order to provide the most professional and fairest services possible to sellers and buyers alike
our auctions are conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations established by the North
Carolina Auction Licensing Board. We are licensed as an auction firm in the State of North Carolina
and any auctioneer working at our sales will likewise, be licensed by that same body. Our
auctioneers regularly participate in continuing education programs required to keep their licenses
active and to ensure that our business provides services to you in full compliance with the law.
The following general terms and conditions apply at all of our sales.

Bidders must register and be assigned a bidder number at the auction office before participating in any sale.
A valid photo ID will be required. This protects you and us from ID theft.

Acceptable methods of payment are: Cash, good check, Visa, and Mastercard.
At the firm's discretion, bidders previously unknown to us may be limited to payment by cash or bank card.
Purchase of titled vehicles or equipment requires payment by cash or bank card.

A $50 penalty will be charged for any and all checks returned by the bank unpaid.

A buyer's premium of 13% will be added to the hammer price of all goods.
Buyer's premium will be discounted to 10% when payment is made by cash or check.

North Carolina state sales tax will be charged on all items sold.
State law allows us to forego sales tax on certain estate sales.
Our auctioneer will make appropriate announcements in those cases.

All accounts must be paid in full on sale day prior to removal of any merchandise.

All items are sold "as is" and "where is" without any warranty either expressed or implied.
It is the bidder's responsibility so satisfy himself as to the condition of any item he intends to purchase.
We'll try to make mention of known defects, but selling hundreds of items at each auction means we can't be familiar with all.

In the absence of positive documentation or provenance merchandise descriptions in our advertising and at sale time should be
construed as the opinion of the auctioneer only and not necessarily statements of fact.

Nash Auctions Inc. reserves the right to decline any bids that our auctioneer deems to be not commensurate with the value of the
merchandise offered or not in the best interest of our client consignors or estates.

Same day removal of your purchases is expected in lieu of prior arrangements with our auctioneer.
The day after each sale we begin staging for the next event and every square inch in our building is precious.
Sold items left in our building over 48 hours will be considered abandoned and may be disposed of at the firm's discretion.

Merchandise may be added to or deleted from sales without prior notice.

Announcements made at sale time supersede any and all advertising.

Your bid on any item in our auctions constitutes acceptance of these terns and conditions.
